Sarah Palin, in her new book "Going Rogue," incorrectly credited a quote — in short, "Our land is everything to us ... our grandfathers paid for it with their lives" — to legendary UCLA coach John Wooden instead of Cheyenne activist John Wooden Legs.

Bill Littlejohn commented: "I can't wait to get to the part where George Washington Carver crosses the Delaware."

It has taken Obama two weeks to say something that George W. Bush couldn't manage to say in eight years:

"I screwed up."

"I’ve got to own up to my mistake. Ultimately, it's important for this administration to send a message that there aren't two sets of rules —you know, one for prominent people and one for ordinary folks who have to pay their taxes," Obama said on NBC’s "Nightly News with Brian Williams."

This is change we can really believe in.
