RNC Chairman Michael Steele was on a Sunday talk show and indicated that the GOP of the past should be the GOP of the future.
Steele diagnosed the GOP ills as a problem of the messenger but not the message -- he even suggested that he supported:
~A look to Newt Gingrich's Contract With America for inspiration
~"No change in the position on the party..." on immigration
~A constitutional ban on gay marriage
~The united GOP front to the stimulus bill
