The Spooky GOP

Rep. Anthony Weiner [D-NY] appearing on Lawrence O’Donnell’s show and agreeing with O'Donnell that if Congress fails to raise the debt ceiling the economic consequences will be devastating. WATCH:

According to Rep Weiner:

“The straw that’s stirring this drink are the Tea Party nihilists who just want the government to shutdown. And one of the things about being Speaker is you’ve got to lead. I don’t see Speaker Boehner doing that, so I think we’re going to have a government shutdown and my Republican friends are going to get what they want.”

Republicans aren't just drinking the Kool-Aid of the Tea Party, they are also watching episodes of the T.V. show the West Wing. WATCH:

The Republicans are claiming that their ideas are bold. Somebody needs to tell them that they are not bold, they're just plain spooky!
